Buddypress Support in v 1.1.2

Recommended Posts

I am running PlatformPro 1.1.1. Have a couple of questions re v 1.1.3. Release notes talk about buddypress support. Can someone elaborate on that? Also, what is the best way to upgrade while keeping current platformpro settings? I uploaded 1.1.3 as a separate theme but the preview shows the site garbled and I am hesitating to activate it. Any advise?

Best way to always upgrade is to use the Base child theme for editing. If you're not yet using it, definitely backup your site and db and download your settings at the bottom of PlatformPro - Settings, that way you can keep the configuration the same. If you've made custom css anywhere you'll want to track that down as well

Thanks Adam. What about Buddypress support? What is new in 1.1.3? The release note seems to have just a one line mention about it.

It's probably just general improvement to the fluidity, code refinement. It's not detrimental as in BuddyPress won't work unless you upgrade or anything like that. Thanks, Bryan

Just installed. Works great. Buddypress appearance is much better.
