How to Adjust Style and Location of Prev/Next Icon in QuickSlider and Flipper

Recommended Posts

I would like to change the style and location of the previous/next icons in the QuickSlider and Flipper sections.

So far I have been able to identify that the QuickSlider elements are "flex-prev" and "flex-next" and I would like the "flex-next" to be right-justified (all the way over to the right) but so far I have been unable to adjust it using LISS/CSS.

I would also like to change to a different style icon. I would prefer a larger full-height semi-transparent chevron if that is possible to accomplish.

The same thing goes for the Flipper section, where I have identified the elements as "flipper-prev" and "flipper-next."

If possible, could you please provide me some guidance for how to proceed? Thank you.

HI Claude,

If you want to achieve this you're going to either need to use custom CSS to override the default styling or if you can't acomplish it with CSS alone, you're going to need to create a child of the each section and customize the default code.

In regards to the QuickSlider, you're going to likely increase the width of the container they're housed in to 100% width and then add custom CSS to make the left hand nav icon float left, and the right one float right.

In regards to replacing the icon, you will likely need to create a child of the section and override the code.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide further support for this kind of customization.

Please search our forums, before posting!

I am using the Powerloop plug-in on my DMS website and can sort my elements by Postdate, but I want to sort the pages in Alphabetic order.
Actually the same question for sorting Flipper content in Alphabetic order instead of Ascending / Descending / Random options.

      Hi Team,
I am looking to style the Continue Reading Button with the PHP you provided in an earlier ticket here:
I put the PHP code into my site, however I do not get my Icon back, I just get back Read More >>
I have attached a screenshot of the code in place on my site along with the output.
Interested to know what I may be doing wrong? - I am very new to PHP so a bit apprehensive on this.

Hey all, hope I worded the topic correctly!
I just need to know if either 1) I'm making a mistake or 2) this could be set as a new feature?
Using the global settings typography parameters, I have a global paragraph font type (set using googlefonts) and have set the style to align:justify. When laying out <p> text inside a simple TEXT module, the <p> text adheres to both the font type and justification. Perfect.
Now, when I set <p> text inside the PARAGRAPH TEXT field within an ELEMENT module, the <p> text adheres to the font type, but not the justification. It's rather annoying as I like to fully justify para text across the board and tend to use Element modules instead of text boxes for various reasons. It also seems silly that some PARAGRAPH TEXT fields adopt global settings, whilst other don't.
Or I'm doing it wrong :S
Any help or advice is much appreciated!

Should be a simple answer but not sure why its not doing this.  I have a child theme installed on pagelines 5 that has a hook so it will write over the theme css. Strange is that when I am on the frontend the code works but in the dashboard your theme takes over my code and its no where to be found. See examples attachments

We only want the images and title mouse-over, not link/click to the actual post the title is from.
      Any ideas anyone?
