Remove Horizontal Rule/border from the bottom of the fixed region

Recommended Posts

gavred

Hi Guys,

Is there anyway to remove the line or horizontal rule from the bottom of the fixed region? (Above the header)

My site is www.noelgroup.ie/home/

No worries if not. I can always remove it. Its just a nice touch and I can't figure out how to remove the line (or colour it white) or just have it so its content width not full page.

Cheers.

Gav.

batman Thanks a million for the suggestion. I've added it to the custom css, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference... Which is strange because it seems like it should be perfect. *Scratches Head.

Hi batman,

I've added that and flushed the CSS. But I'm still not getting any changes.

Although this error just popped up:

I can't see where the unclosed block is. Could that be what is causing your CSS not to apply?

*Sigh. I had a similar issue yesterday and the problem was a * which had found its way into my custom css somehow...

By the way, thank you very much for your suggestion! I really appreciate your help here. :)

In default state, the Pagelines DMS 2 fixed region (just above the header region) has a height of 50px.
Why isn't there some simple way to make this region larger? Currently, my logo placed there is super-tiny.
Can the height of this fixed region be changed without breaking something else in the process?
Does this simple change actually require custom CSS?
      Please advise...
      Thanks,
      Dale

      Hi Guys,

I want to use iChart to display a range of salaries.

If you look at this page: http://www.noelgroup.ie/ichart-test-page/

I think you should be able to get the idea of what I'm trying to do. Ideally I would like to have the maximum range of the salary in the negative space. (or the indent/remaining % of the progress bar.)

Is there any way to accomplish this or is there any other plugins available that I might be able to achieve this effect with?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

      Hi Guys,

I'm trying to enable the iHeader Section Dropdown on this page; http://www.noelgroup.ie/ascension-executive-recruitment/

But i'm getting a funny result. I've followed the instructions as outlined by adding megamenu to the class for the menu but I'm not having any luck..

"Want full width, multi column "mega menu" or "Panel Menu"? Simply add a class of "megamenu" or "panelmenu" to the list items using the WP menu creation tool."

I've added it as a class to just the single dropdown page and to all of the pages in the menu, and to all of the pages in the menu bar the dropdown page.

Any advice or suggestions as to how i might go about resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

N.B. The Menu it is supposed to display is the one on this page - http://www.noelgroup.ie/career-advice/with the addition of a dropdown under career advice.

      Hi Guys,

I have a issue which is frustrating me, which I am hoping you may be able to help me resolve.

I am trying to hide the global fixed top and the footer region on a number of pages.

An example URL is this one: www.noelgroup.ie/grabajob/

The CSS I am trying to use is the following:

.page-id-1313 .pl-fixed-top { display: none; }  .page-id-1313 .section-ifooter { display: none; }    I can't understand why it isn't working.  Any suggestions you could provide me with would be very much welcomed and appreciated.    Thanks,  Gav.    N.B.    I did try to use Danny's suggestion on a previous forum post here: http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/37274-no-header-fixed-menu-for-certain-pages/ However, when I used this suggestion, the site became slightly "buggy" (if thats the right term) and while the fixed-top and the footer hid perfectly on the pages I specified, the menu and the footer tended to disappear once I logged out of the admin and I ended up having to re-add the sections a number of times before I dis-abled the pro tools "hide region" checkbox and unselected the areas to be hidden.
