Parse Error - Custom CSS not applying even when the offending code is removed.

Hi Guys,

On my site - Here: www.noelgroup.ie/home/

I'm using iBlog 6 V.1.2 running on Wordpress 4.0.

My custom CSS was working fine until I started to receive a Parse Error.

Now none of my custom CSS is working as you can see below.

Any suggestions on how I can resolve this would be hugely appreciated!

As an update to this.

I've tried the following:

Disabling and reenabling the theme.

Clearing all of the custom CSS and re-adding it line by line.

Re-adding the sections.

If anyone could provide me with any further suggestions I would be really grateful.

Try using color code or white

Thanks for the reply here Simon_P. But I've deleted the CSS that the PARSE code error is showing and i'm still getting the error.

Also the rest of my custom code isn't applying which you can see in the screen shot. For example the iBox titles and the '> more' links are appearing when they shouldn't.

Any further suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Gav.

if you view the page source you will see there is no custom css, if the system cannot compile it for whatever reason, its going to be blank.

What about simply adding .test{color:#000} to the box, then publish, and click the flush cache button.

Simon_P Thanks for the suggestion. I was unaware that button existed. It brought back my published changes green light for the first time since I started developing the site, which is cool.  :)

Unfortunately, it hasn't solved the issue.

Any further ideas? It would be a big relief if I can get this sorted.

Logged in, removed the red dot** from your css, clicked save. Rejoiced.

** red dot might be a copy/paste from somewhere else?

Simon_P You're a gentleman. Thank you very much. I've no idea where the red dot came from but hallelujah! I owe you one. Cheers!

I am trying to get iBlogpro6 running under https. All is fine but I am getting a mixed content warning:
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://s11r.co/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://s11r.co/content/uploads/pagelines/compiled-css-core-1464872768.css'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS. The compiled css file are delivered in http not https. I tried toi delete them several times but the error is still there.
Do I need to fix something in the theme folder? What? Where?

I just updated my Wordpress site to DMS 2.2.1. Now, attempting to access the site, either from the front or back end, produces this message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /nfs/c08/h05/mnt/124538/domains/in-terms-of.com/html/wp-content/themes/dms/dms/includes/lib.theming.php on line 280
      Line 280 of that file reads:         $file_path = ltrim( str_replace( wp_upload_dir()['baseurl'], '', $file_url ), '/');
Any ideas on how to make a correction?

      Hi
I'm in trouble with a site using iBlogPro 6 with the DMS editor. Developers told me to ask support in forums. Here we go…
I try to make a page with tabs containing a kind of dictionary with some terminology. I am saving and refreshing all the time but the problem is, in some point, the changes aren't saved and I get the three default tabs again as nothing happened. I did it once and again. Then I saw the problem was when I write more than 50.000 characters (or 60.000 counting white spaces).
What can I do? How do I have to configure server settings? Or is this a theme problem?
Please I would appreciate any comment about it.
      Thank you very much

I am currently using Pagelines Framework 2.4.6
I'm interested to upgrade my site to iBlogPro6
Will I be able to keep my Pagelines Framework website live and uninterrupted while building my new iBlogPro6 site?
Is there a online help guide of specifics instructions how to get this process started once I download iBlogPro6?
