iBox "More >" Removal

Recommended Posts

maui00wowi

I used this code

".ibox .ibox-desc .ibox-link {display: none;}"

to try to remove the "More >" that pops up when you add a link to an ibox. I have used this code in the past and it does not seem to be working on http://beija-flordesigns.com/carolyn/. I tried naming the iboxes as sm and used this code as well.

.sm .sm-desc .sm-link {display: none;}

It also did not work.

Can you please help?

Hi Mallorie,

Add the following to your custom CSS:

#site .ibox-link {
  display: none;
}

I added the code to both the custom css on the front end editor, and also on the dashboard pagelines css. It shows up in all the pages except for the home page which is where the ibox is located. I have tried to add it about 20 times and every time I hit refresh it disappears from only the home page. It reappears when I click through the other pages but when I go back to the homepage it disappears again. Any suggestions?

I can assure you the code I have provided above most definitely works. I have also viewed your site and I am unable to see that code be loaded anywhere. Therefore, you most likely haven't added it correctly, remove it or you have an error in your custom CSS which is preventing it from loading.

I'm not sure what is going on but I can't change the css at all anymore. I tried to delete everything I had in there and reapply the codes that I'm actively using. I delete everything in the Custom CSS, click publish, click refresh and the code pops right back into where I deleted it from after the page refreshes. I don't doubt the code works, I just need to be able to add it.

Please disable all active plugins and see if this resolves your issue.

However, after looking at your site more closely, you still haven't fixed the issues I mentioned you had in one of your other topics. Such as:

You're still using an extremely out dated version of DMS, we do not actually provide support to users who're running old versions.
Also, you still have DMS installed in the wrong directly, you currently have your DMS installed in a directory called dms-1 The correct directory name should be simply dms

At the moment you have this:

/wp-content/themes/dms-1/dms/...

The correct directory name is this:

/wp-content/themes/dms/dms/...

Until you fix this and update to the latest version, you will likely encounter issues.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
      I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
      On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
      Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
      My theme is up to date

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
      Thanks in advance for the help!

      Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
      All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
