CSS problems in nav-bar

Recommended Posts

marcnevens

Hello,

I installed Pagelines framework 2.4.4 on a WP 3.8.4 installation.

I have 2 translations: 1 English + 1 in French with WPML.

I used for the active menu item following css code:

.navbar .navline > li.current-menu-item > a {
    background-color: rgba(0, 38, 73, 0.1);
    color: #002649;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-shadow: none;
}

In the englisch version there is no problem. The menu navigation button has the correct background color when the page is active.

Problem: when I swith the site to the french version, the above css code won't work, so I have no backgroundcolor on the active page on the menu navigation buttom

I checked in FFox and will have following code without current-item

.navbar .navline > li > a {
    color: rgba(0, 38, 73, 0.8);
    display: block;
    float: none;
    line-height: 19px;
    padding: 9px 5px 10px;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-shadow: none;
}

Attached I will also sent a screenshot of both navbars

The url of my site is here

Could you give me some advice in order to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Marc

Hi,

I think you need to speak to WPML, as for some reason it would appear their plugin is stripping the .current-menu-item class from the menu items.
