Make masonic gallery sortable by post_title and increase loaded posts

Recommended Posts

Dominik

for the next pagelines release it would be nice to add sorting by post_title to masonic gallerys

also the max count of loaded post should be an input field no dropdown so we could input any number we want to

Hi Dominik

Yes, there is a good option

For the moment i copy a @Simon´s reply

Fortunately there is a way to override ANY option on the fly  ;) you can add any number.

add_filter( 'pl_opt-masonic_total', function() { return 35; } );

Life is too short to remove USB safely ...

Hi Guys,

Im also looking to increase the amount of posts loaded in the masonic gallery, i see the code above but not sure where to find or change the value, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks,

Ben

Ive just added this to the custom CSS sections, think its done the job? Thanks

Looks like it didnt work, seemed like it did temporally.

/* LESS PARSE ERROR in your Custom CSS: parse error: failed at `add_filter( 'pl_opt-masonic_total', function() { return 35; } );` line: 1046 */

Any advice appreciated.

onlinedesigns4u - The code above provided by Batman, needs to go into your child themes functions.php file. You not add filter hooks to the Custom CSS panel, only CSS and LESS CSS is supported.

Please remove that code from your custom CSS/LESS editor and then add the code above into your child themes functions.php file.

Very helpful post!

I was also looking for a method to display more then 20 posts.

Beyond QTY, I'm needing more sorting control then Date and Name.  How about using a custom post type based on numbered order or something? I would rather not have to change the post date but need the more eye catching posts at the top? Any other suggestions to sort?
