Platform Pro - Blog posts and Pages layout

My blog post pages and my static pages, have a specific layout (no feature, no boxes, etc.) What I find inconvenient is that I have to specify this in each blog post. Is there a way to set the defaults for blog and pages to use a specify layout rather than selecting to exclude the things I don't need in each post or page?

Yes that is what the template setup is for in the settings panel. You can go and setup your own template with the sections then specify which template you want to use, or in the case of blog pages or default page templates you can create those to.

That's the problem. In Template Setup, Template "Post pages" I only have "Content Area"enabled and all others disabled. On Template "Header" I have Features, Boxes, and other items enabled. My question then is, how do I set my Blog's Home page to include Features, Boxes, etc. and at the same time exclude as default these on the Post pages?

I think I have answered my own question

• disable Features and Boxes on Header template
• Enable Features and Boxes on Default page template
• Enable whatever I need on Posts template

The only way I could make it work (partially) is to create a page called "Home" and change Settings > Reading > Front page displays: Static page > Home (instead of "Your latest posts") The issue with this, is that now I can't see last blog posts on the Home page... I am sure I am missing something....

Got it

• Add the Feature to the header section.
• Advanced setup > "hide by default", and save
• Advanced setup > "show on posts pages"

My confusion was the "Show on post pages" label; this may be better labeled as "show on default posts page"
