Solid Footer Not Adding To Pages

Recommended Posts

chrisayers

I downloaded your plugin for Solid Footer. I installed it on 2 websites with same results. It shows up with loading in box after dragging to page but never loads. I deactivated all plug ins and tuned them back on with no better result. I have tried it on a DMS2 and a IBlog theme.

Perhaps I have a conflict but not sure.

Thanks Guys

I installed it via normal plug-in installer. No special FTP or unpacking.  You can see it is my list of sections via my screen capture. I have it on this page. http://865webs.com/ at the moment still. That is a portal page with Iblog6 theme.

I am unable to see the section Solid Footer on that page. However, if the Solid Footer is causing a loading loop, then the problem is most likely a plugin you have installed. Can you please disable all active plugins and see if this resolves the issue.

I did that. I even started a new website using the new White house theme (this one has a bug the that new top notebar will not show a edit button). The solid footer works fin and put it on the page. I switched to IBlog6 and the solid footer breaks. This was on a fresh install.

The While House theme with solid footer working is here http://webradioworld.com/ and here http://www.790webs.com/sandbox/  If I change it to DMS2 or IBlog it will not work. The Pink notebar cannot be removed from the WRW page either.

I have no issue using Solid Footer with DMS - https://cloudup.com/c-5VKNaDPXH

I just installed like any other plugin, activated it and then clicked Reload Sections in the DMS Toolbar > Add to Page panel. Where the Solid Footer section was available. I dragged it to my Footer area, configured the options and clicked Publish.

Can you go provide me with your sites URL, admin username and password please via a private message so I can take a closer look. As the only way the Solid Footer section would be having the loading loop is either by a plugin you have installed or custom code you may have added.

Also, not sure what you're referring to when you say pink notebar on the wrw page ?

Pretty sure this is a bug in those sites only cause I have got it working on a few others. Just close this one Danny. I am going to assume it is a flaw in my install. I am sorry to leave it open this long I got bogged down this week and did not get back here.

funkyman - If you have a loading loop, then please disable all active plugins and remove any custom code (CSS/LESS or Scripts) you may have added and see if this resolves your issue.

funkyman As this topic has been marked as resolved, can you create your own topic and provide the following information please:

1. A link to the site in question

2. Make sure all plugins are disabled

3. Make sure DMS debug mode is active (WordPress Admin Dashboard > PageLines, scroll to the bottom and check the Debug option).

4. Make sure you have removed all custom CSS, scripts and hooks.

Also, have you added any scripts to sections?

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

      Hello,
I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
