Customizing the Button and Width

Recommended Posts

Danny

Hi,

The button has it's own styling coming from the plugin you're using. If you want to change the button color and width, you're going to need to use the buttons class and override with your own CSS.

How to do that in DMS with Overrides

You will need to inspect the element to find it's class or ID and then override it's CSS. Once you have done that, you can add your custom CSS to DMS.

Not sure what you mean, it seems to be working well in TwentyFourteen, you want to customize the button, so if you want to customize the button, you will also need to do it in TwentyFourteen ?

So if you want to change the color of that button to blue, make it larger, you're going to need to use custom CSS.

However, if you want to keep the button as it is but remove that styling around the button itself, then you're going to need to use the following code.

p.submit {
padding: 0;
background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
border: none;
}

The reason as to why you're having to do this is because for some reason the plugin as added a <p> tag with a class called submit, which is rather odd.

The Button in pressed state still needs correction.

When we click and hold on the button, it shows odd styling of full length grey.

How to avoid it? Is there a specific code for that.

You may please check the screen shot when pressing and holding the click on the button below
