Unexplained line of text appearing on page

Recommended Posts

I have Framework 2.1.6 and WP 3.9.2

Here is the page in question http://creativejuiceartbar.com/adult-calendar/

There is a line of text appearing on my page that reads "My category content" it's directly above a list of events which is compiled by a plugin called Event Espresso. When I firebug this page there is no way i can hide this with css. The plugin developer doesn't recognize the text and suggested that I drop the following code in my theme's functions.php file. Does that sound right to you? Is there somewhere else I should be putting this code? Also by looking with Firebug the text "My category content" does appear to fall under the plugin's div. So I'm a bit confused.

Thanks for any help.

function ee_replace_my_category_content_messaging( $translated, $original, $domain ) {
    $strings = array(
        'My category content' => '',
    if ( isset( $strings[$original] ) ) {
        $translations = get_translations_for_domain( $domain );
        $translated = $translations->translate( $strings[$original] );
    return $translated;
add_filter( 'gettext', 'ee_replace_my_category_content_messaging', 10, 3 );

HI nudolio

I see, but this is not a PageLines problem.

You need to insist with the plugin developer to get rid the text.
