WooCommerce Bookings Plugin & DMS2 Incompatibility

All,

 

I am using the latest release of DMS2 developer version 2.15 and WooCommerce 2.1.12.  I know that DMS2 and WooCommerce are compatibile but I can use some assistance in troubleshooting an incompatibility issue with WooCommers Bookings extension.  See here for details on this premium extension http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/.

 

The plugin installed successfully and when you're in the Wordpress Dashboard logged in everything looks to function correctly.  However, when using Chrome to to edit DMS2 settings at the site level some of the menu item buttons that appear are corrupted.  For example those that appear on the left when selecting "Add to Page" or if you edit RevSlider the slide setup buttons are corrupted as well.  If I disable the Bookings plugin the issue goes away.

I was wondering if DMS2 developers have any insight or contact with WooCommerce developers who may understand what is causing this issue and resolve this incompatibility. The Bookings Plugin is a very nice features. 

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

This is likely caused by the plugins custom CSS or JS, you will need to contact the developer of the plugin for assistance.

I understand this but this is one of those issues I feel both Pagelines and WooCommerce need to look at.  I also emailed WooCommerce.  The Booking plugin is working correctly on my site and works an all default Wordpress installed themes without issue.  The only compatbility issue I see is when using the unique features of DMS2 where you use Chrome to configure the front end of the site.  So it's here where we have the issue.  It could be a Pagelines issue or a WooCommerce issue.  I am look for either company to take the first step.  Even log into my site to get some additional information.

If you PM me your site URL and admin username/password I can see if there is any error. However, due to how DMS works which includes the editor some plugins may have issues such as conflicts.

Hi Chules,

 

Has this issue been resolved already with the latest install or something? 

 

I am planning of integrating a booking plugin and thinking to use woocommerce plugin + extension as well.

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens. 
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date. 
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?

      Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com. 
      All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
