Header Section - Remove Box Shadow

Recommended Posts

freymi

Hello all,

1st time post here. New to Pageline, but i learn a lot every day...

I'm creating my first site with Pageline, been trying for hours to get rid of the box shadow of the header section.

I found it in Firebug, see attached screenshot, marked red in the right lower corner.

But how to do this in CSS?

I downloaded the pagelines-customize plugin, but how to implement in the style.css to deactivate it like Firebug does it?

Thanks for any clues.

Regards,

Michael

Hi,

In order to override default CSS, you're going to need to do exactly what you have done and locate the CSS you wish to override. Then you're going to need to use the class name and then add your own styling which overrides/replaces the default CSS to your Custom CSS, this can be via the DMS Toolbar > Custom CSS and/or child theme, I wouldn't recommend the customize plugin.

You can use my child theme here - http://dannyholt.github.io/skeleton/

Also, add the following and this should override and remove the box shadow from that element.

#fixed-top {
.box-shadow(none);
}
