Recommended Posts

chebon

Hello,

I am having a problem which is... Actually I have two. So let's start:

1. I would like to attach photo, but I would like to anable zooming it in good resolution. Zooming to see details, because photo covers back of a device which has many little titles.

I attached an image at the end.

End this is a page adress: https://mytekdigital.com/?page_id=944&preview=true

2. I would like an image on my first pag to scale nicly in different devices, it does not scale and I don't know why. It does look good only in one resolution of the monitor...

The photo of a device is beeing cut of from the up in different than 1080px scale

This is the link to the page:

https://mytekdigital.com

Thank you for any suggestions!

Hi,

1. I am not sure what you mean by zooming, can you go into more detail please. Also the link you provided gives a 404.

2. The MediaBox you have added the image to (on your homepage) should scale on mobile devices. I have just viewed your site on my iPhone and the images has been scaled.

I've edited this to make it more clear

Hello,

I am having a problem which is... Actually I have two. So let's start:

1. the photo at the End of this is a page address: http://mytekdigital.com/manhattan-dac/

scales but needs to be legible. so on mobile it scales down but cannot be read. i want an option to expand and see the details. scrollable zoomed in on the connectors and text.

2. I would like an image on my first page (mytekdigital.com) to scale nicly in different devices, it does not scale and I don't know why. It does look good only in one resolution of the monitor...

The photo of a device is beeing cut of from the up in different than 1080px scale.

We corrected this by using media box and a smaller image. Using CANVAS SECTION the image did not scale, more it was zoomed in on mobile with the left and right sides cut off. Next best was REVSLIDER but this also had the sides cut off but less so, it looked averagely nicer across all platforms, Except that screens with lower resolution (Larger older screens) the top was chopped off with the scaling this was replicatable using chrome and zooming in a great deal.

Currently MEDIABOX scales best but the text and link options are less desirable.

Could you help with the CSS to make the formatting better?

This is the CSS i have tried already

.section-mediabox-title {
    padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0;
    position: center;
    vertical-align: text-top;
}
.h3 {
    padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0;
}
.h5 {
    padding-top: 0;
}
.mediabox .the-media-html {
   padding-top: 0;

}

I have attached the Preferred Rev slider format with buttons and the site at mytekdigital.com uses the media box with non ideal text and buttons.

this is the code I've used for the media box buttons

<h5><strong>Introducing The Manhattan<br>• DAC • Headphone • Preamplifier •<br></strong></h5><br>Now accepting orders</b><br><br><br>[pl_button type="inverse large" link="http://mytekdigital.com/pro" target="blank"]Professional[/pl_button]  &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp[pl_button type="info" link="http://mytekdigital.com/hifi" target="blank"]High Fidelity[/pl_button]

Thank you for any suggestions!

1. DMS is a responsive, but what you're asking for is a non-responsive image. Which can not be achieved out of the box. If you want this image to keep its dimension, then you're going to need to add some custom CSS to that image. This isn't something we provide support for.

Another alternative would be for you to enable the pinch/zoom meta tag, which will allow you to zoom in on the whole site on mobile devices, see my reply here - http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/36012-would-love-to-see-a-global-option-for-allowing-pinch-zoom-on-mobile/?hl=pinch

2. I am not sure what you mean non-ideal text and buttons ? However, the issue is the HTML you have used, you shouldn't need to use the &nbsp; entity to add non-breaking space. I would recommend you use an inline list to display the DAC, Headphones etc... Also, have you add all this HTML to the actual Title option field, if so then that won't work. I recommend you add HTML to the HTML text area instead.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
      I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
      On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
      Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
      My theme is up to date

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
      Thanks in advance for the help!
