DMS 2 Gravity Forms WordPress Plugin Compatibility and Styling

2 posts in this topic

Hi guys,

What is the level of compatibility and integration of PageLines DMS 2 with the Gravity Forms WordPress plugin? Also any hints on styling would be greatly welcomed.

*I've tried it on my demo site and it didn't look great

We use Gravity Forms on our contact page -

The styling comes directly from the Gravity Forms plugin.

    • How to add short codes to dms
      By RiverRat
Hi I need to add a simple optin form on the landing page on the right of the slider. I want to have a background graphic. I was able to add the image background to the column, but adding the short code in the text box nested in the column did not work for Firefox, but seems to work in Chrome
How would I add a small opt in form to the right of my slider. I do have Gravity forms but wondering how to add the short code to the landing page of DMS. thanks
    • Gravity Forms iframe issue

Hey guys, I've got this one page where I've placed a simple Gravity form — and the footer has this strange gap that doesn't show on the page.
It's an iframe. With no content. Which I have no clue how it got there.
HOWEVER... when I removed the form from the page, the gap (and the iframe) disappeared.
Is there anything in DMS that would cause this? I'll check with the folks at GravityForms to see if they have any clue.
Note that the rest of the pages are fine.
    • Gravity Forms disappear in Chrome with DMS editor

I have several Gravity Forms forms on our site.  The ones that use conditional logic do not appear in Chrome if I am logged in as the admin.  They do appear in Firefox when logged in and when not logged.  This makes me wonder if there is something in the Chrome-based DMS editor that is causing the problem.  Has anyone else experienced this?
    • Another GravityForms issue - Signature add-on not working in TextBox
      By jeomiland+
      Hi guys
I recently purchased the GravityForms plugin and the advanced Signature add-on. Bought it exclusively because a client needs signatures on a form.
Well I have a form on a test page in a simple TextBox in the template section. The form displays and works BUT NOT the Signature field!  Am communicating w/their support and they see errors on the page:
There is a JavaScript error: Uncaught ReferenceError: SuperSignature is not defined For some reason the script is in the footer when it should be up in the header, the stylesheets are also down in the footer and they should also be in the header. Does your theme's header.php file have <?php wp_head(); ?> also how are you including the form on that page, are you using the shortcode or the function call. If you are using the function call then you also need to use the gravity_form_enqueue_scripts function to correctly include the stylesheets and scripts: Here's a simplified test page:

It has this in the Pagelines Textbox section and nothing else:
      [gravityform id=2 title=false description=false ajax=true] Thanks for taking a look

This may not require customization, or it may. What is the best solution for adding the form to the right.
I want to do a charity submit type of thing. This is the best example.
The background image is preferred. I know with the banner you can have the image on one side and the form on the other. Any other ideas.
Can anyone make it look like this or similar?
Ideas are welcome. I can outsource if absolutely needed as well. Thanks.
