Move featured image above title

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I'm using latest DMS and I seems to not get how to switch place on the featured image and title within a single post (wp content/postloop).

Currently its like this:

Title

Featured Image

Content

I wish it to be in this order:

Featured Image

Title

Content

Probably been brought up before, but been searching a lot couldn't find any up to date solution.

Some points in right directions is well appreciated ! = )

could we have a link to your DMS site please?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Ok I found out I can change the themes/dms/dms/sections/postloop/section.php file. How do I make a correct override to this file? I'm currently using a child theme, I'm aware of the override section tutorial http://docs.pagelines.com/advanced/override-sections but it seems postloop is in the dms/dms/section folder instead of dms/sections (there is 2 section folders in DMS theme folder). And overriding by childtheme/sections/postloop/ doesn't work (as told in the override tutorial).

Easy just copy it to child theme sections folder, rename the section folder to postloop-2 and change the name at the top. reload sections, thats it

I would like to know how this was achieved. Im using a child theme and at the moment (sophistique) my post tiles are above the featured image. Id like the post title below the featured image, not sure why its positioned there as default to be honest or why it cant be changed within the post loop settings with a check box on the front-end?

I can find and edit lines of code in the backend via FTP, but my knowledge isnt great when it comes to php files and practices.

Thanks guys

I'm building a product catalog site. The featured image is set correctly, but the woocommerce placeholder image is displaying instead. If I click on the placeholder image, the featured image appears, and the featured image works fine as a thumbnail.
Please view the site here: http://www.directmat.net/product/power-lock-logo-mat/
Note: I deleted the placeholder image via FTP to see if that would inspire Quick Shop to look for the featured image. No such luck. Please help!

I am having an issue with DMS editor not loading.  Just keeps spinning and spinning.
Have tried several things - Logged in and out, cleared cache, deactivated all plugins, but the issue persists.
I even had our host restore from a backup a few weeks ago, when I know it WAS working, as I edited a text box on the homepage.  The restore from backup didn't help either.
Also, the front end of the site shows that the site is framed, or boxed now (whatever you call it), instead of full width as it was previously (last week).
Dev console shows that there are php errors in Google maps - file is attached.
Can someone please help?  Not sure what else I can do here...
      Thanks in advance.
