Make Fixed Area Transparent

Recommended Posts

Troy

Hi, please excuse the noob question.

I would like to create a home page where the entire page has my site background showing behind.

I would like both logo and navigation to be fixed.

How would I go about making the fixed area transparent, ie. to show my site background instead of a white box?

This is the site thus far www.luon.co.za

Thanks for your responces.

Hi,

If I understand you correctly, try adding this to your custom CSS:

#site .pl-fixed-top {
  background-color: transparent;
  box-shadow: none;
}

      I am working with a very basic site, solely for the purpose of learning how DMS and various section work. The most exotic aspect of the site is that I installed WhiteHouse Pro 6.

      Unlike all other sites I've dabbled in, this one is missing the Fixed area. Is that a feature of WhiteHouse Pro 6?
      The site is also missing the red top bar (is this the fixed area) that is shown in the sample.
