Remove author avatar and "karma"

Recommended Posts

ffornaro

Hi guys,

a couple of questions for you.

How do I remove the avatar picture and the "give karma" sign beside each single post? Please have a look to the red arrows in the screenshot enclosed. I'd like to remove them and have a full-width content... is that possible? Same about the "Posted on"... I don't need it.

Moreover, I have this white space below the header (green arrow) which is impossible to remove. If I do that throught the proper "x", it appears again when the page is reloaded.

Could you please help me?

Thank you in advance and best regards.

Hi ffornaro

Please, you can try with

.pl-new-loop .metahead {
  display: none;}

and

.pl-new-loop .hentry.post, .pl-new-loop .hentry.multi-post {
  padding-left: 0px;
}

For the "Posted on" you can write

in the "WP Content/Loop" Meta Information > Enter Meta Information (  Global Option )

The, soon to be released new update will have options for the karma functionality.

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Thank you Danny, but it isn't.

Moreover I see a weird behaviour.

In the Custom tab, under Custom LESS/CSS I copied the CSS code you gave me, then I clicked publish. As soon as I reload the page, new lines disappear and I see only the custom code I had before. Basically, nothing changes and no modification is saved in this way. Is that a bug?

Instead, if I try to modify the CSS code in Wordpress dashboard, under "Your Pagelines Account" -> DMS Less Fallback, the code is saved, but nothing changes in the frontend.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you so much guys.

Hi ffornaro

Please, you can take a look to this

http://codex.wordpre...rg/Child_Themes

I use a Danny´s child theme, and this works fine to all my sites

https://github.com/Dannyholt/skeleton

You can try add this CSS code to "style.css"

http://screencast.com/t/hthCw92T

Only you need to upload the Child Theme .zip as a new theme, you can copy all your old CSS into this.
