Migration issue or Activation problem with menu nav bar

I have migrated a DMS2 site from (Site #1) http://briandavisonline.com/ctdev to (Site #2) http://churchtracer.com and I'm having some issues with the site continuing to look the same as it was. For example the primary nav bar used to be green (on site #1) and now it appears black (on site #2). It is selected inside the settings for the color options for the navigation menu. How can I fix this?

I'm using the latest version of DMS & Wordpress.

I also noticed that on the main Pagelines Page it doesn't show that my new site has an account that is ACTIVATED. See the differences attached. So i'm not sure if my new site is acting as a "free" version of DMS?? I tried reseting the activation for the site license but that didn't seem to help. Perhaps this is causing the problem why I can't change the color of the menu?

Please help. :) Thanks

Cheers!

Hi,

Can you provide a screenshot of your NavBar sections options for both sites please. As, from what I can tell your styling is rather odd and your first site doesn't appear to be using the latest version of DMS, which may be your problem right there.

Hi Danny,

Thanks for your reply.

Here is the screenshot for the NavBar options on site #1 (this site is using DMS 2.0)

Danny, you mentioned that having a newer version of DMS may be a problem...how would this change the color of the menu? Just curious because we've tried using both the original DMS 2.0 version and the new version 2.0.7 and the problem remains. Thanks.

The issue I am having is (I am not sure if this is indeed a bug or something wrong on my end) that when I use the Full Width NavBar, I have the color options. However, when I use the Content Width NavBar which from the looks of it, you're using, I don't have those color options.

Now when you use the background color option, the class in the NavBar changes from:

pl-color-X (replace X with color name)

to

pl-color-array (array being the color you select from the background color picker.

However, see as I do not have those options, I am not able to select a background color from the picker. Which may be the cause of your issue too, as your first site has the

pl-color-array class, where as the second site doesn't it contains pl-color-black-trans. So in theory, we may have actually stumbled on a bug or those options may have been removed on the Navbar when we upgraded it.

To resolve your issue for the time being, until this is investigate (as I have already reported it) add the following to your custom CSS:

#site .section-navbar .navbar.pl-color-black-trans {
background: #336137;
}

Also, when viewing your site, I did notice some invalid CSS, so you will probably want review your code again and remove any invalid CSS such as:

.navbar {
top-margin: 40px;
}

There is no such CSS property called top-margin:, it is margin-top:

      Hello,
      I can't activate my Pro account on http://calcipatrimoine.theproofingcompany.fr (miror site of http://calci-patrimoine.com)
      When I click on "Activate Pro" button of the Account section, nothing works.
      Also, do I need to activate DMS with a DMS key in the Pagelines Updater ?
      Regards,
      Anthony

      Hi there,
      I've got an issue with 3 websites built with DMS since I migrated them from http to https that I need help with please.
      When any changes are made - e.g. new posts added or existing posts amended - certain sections of the live site seem to break e.g. image headers hang and don't load (b/g on canvas section), sliders hang and don't load (Revslider), flipper section doesn't load.
      Logging in and then clicking 'Edit the site using DMS' seems to fix the problem. Often if I try to open up another browser window to edit the site / re publish I'm unable to as the page wont load / hangs while trying to load.
      Any ideas how to fix this? On a couple of the sites I've installed a caching plugin as I thought it might be a loading speed issue but it's still happening.
      Website URL's can be provided privately.
      Many thanks in advance.

      Hi
      I found this topic
      which talks about a similar issue I am having, but a little different. Hope someone can help me out.
      Best way to see the problem is to view http://cassclayton.com/ on Safari (Mac) compared to Firefox or Chrome. You will see the banner just under the fixed menubar has a gap between the menubar and top of the banner. Looking at Inspector, I found:
      <div class="fixed-top-pusher" style="height: 62px;"></div>
      <script> jQuery('.fixed-top-pusher').height( jQuery('.pl-fixed-top').height() ) </script>
      and indeed it seems the jquery is not always working consistently. For instance, if you simply refresh the page in Safari, it will loose the gap and all looks fine, so is it a browser cache issue that is interacting with the jquery? I do have W3 Total Cache installed. There must be a way to tell the code to make sure jquery is up and running and available to do it's majic?
      And perhaps there is just a better way to do this banner? Originally I tried several DMS sections and used the banner image as background, etc... Kept running into problems with resizing and the left/right parts of the image were getting chopped off. It is important the whole image show, so currently I just use a NextBox section with this code:
      <img src="[pl_site_url]/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/CassClayton-blues-tribute-banner.jpg" width="100%" />
      and it looks the way it should. Is there a better way to place a banner graphic under a fixed navbar and make sure the whole banner graphic displays regardless of screensize?

      Hello There,
      So i want to use platform 5 and DMS sections on a single page, i am using a child theme with pinspro as my main theme and i activated platform 5, the only problem am having so far is the fixed option, my navbars are not aligning to their default size, and it will be great if platform 5 header and footer section will function, has anyone used this option, how can i make the best use of platform 5 and DMS on a site
