How to avoid navbar scrolling

Recommended Posts

ffornaro

Hi all,

just a simple question.

In my website www.cucinescavolinitorino.it I'd like to have a fixed navbar when the page scrolls down.

If i use this CSS custom code:

#site .navbar {
position: fixed;
}

the navbar disappears... so this is not the solution :)

How can I have a "fixed" navbar?

Thank you so much.

Just drag your navbar into the top fixed section (the section at the top of the site)

Chrome Developer tools - please use them. If you are not sure how, then it is easy to learn

Be inventive in your keyword search of the forum ie Navi > Navbar > menu > tabs > font > color. Your answer lies there somewhere!

No problem... easy mistake to make (the other is wondering why everything in footer, header and fixed-top remain the same... I couldnt understand why the changes were taking place globally until I realised I was working on the header section! DOH!).
