Recommended Posts

The image is aligning right so it is right next to the text. How to text-align:left; ? Css is not working.

Could we have a link to your site please?

Also can we have the CSS you have tried - please paste here and provide the link http://forum.pagelines.com/pst/

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

http://www.4orless.com/ is the site

Notice the first hero has separation from the text, it is aligned right. The second hero has no separation from text because it is still aligned right. I want it aligned left.

The only code I have tried is text-align:left; which would fix it if it could be applied to the hero image itself.

I appreciate the answer, but how would I do this? Could you give a code example? Also I meant the opposite, I want the second "reverse" hero image to be floated left. I'm surprised I can't find an answer to this on the forums.

The help you need for floating things using CSS can be found here http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_class_float.asp

We can't just provide the code for you but if you show us the code you have tried (which i asked you for earlier but you didn't provide) we can suggest changes to code you have already tried.

Help overriding CSS can be found here http://docs.pagelines.com/customize/overriding-default-css

I recommend using Firebug so you make changes to the CSS on your site right from the browser window without actually changing any code.

This is a bug, which has already been reported. For the time-being, add the following to your custom CSS:

.pl-hero-reverse .m-bottom, .pl-hero-reverse p {
text-align: right;
}
.pl-hero-reverse .hero_image {
text-align: left;
}
