bobborsongmailcom 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 This seems pretty bad but I was trying to stick in the code for the Facebook like feature, stuck the code Andrew wrote in the forum and clealy stuck it in the wrong place. I went into the functions.php file and pasted it in and now I get this message when I try and access the admin of my site: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home2/lifeofa2/public_html/wp content/themes/iblogpro/functions.php on line 24 I can't even get in to remove what I pasted. What do I do now? As you can imagine, I am slightly paanicked over the whole thing. If you could give me as much information as possible I wwould appreciate it. Also, I have a post already written but I didn't back up my site before I pasted this code in. Am I going to lose it?
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 Okay, did you make any other alterations besides adding the Facebook functions? If not, and there's nothing to lose just overwrite function.php with your local copy via FTP then go directly to: yoursite.com/wp-login.php to regain access. Thanks, Bryan
