Better iBoxes Purchased Better iBoxes version not working

Framework Version: DMS 2.04
WordPress Version: 3.9
Plugins in Use: Akismet, BE Subpages Widget,Better iBoxes, Dms Developer Tools, Select DMS, Professional Tools, Events Made Easy, Gravity Forms, PageLines Updater,WordPress SEO, WP-DBManager, WP Super Cache
Server/Host:  HostGator
Details:  We are developing a new site and recently updated the site to DMS2 and all plugins were working correctly.  We then added a Child Theme called Nick's Base Theme and had to make some adjustments to the site, but all was good with the exception of the Better iBoxes plugin.  We had purchased, installed, and set it up prior to the DMS2 upgrade and Base Theme addition.  Now it does not give us the options we had before and believe it has switched back to the free version.
We want the boxes to be square.
We deleted the plugin and re-installed it, but it did not solve this issue.  When you are in the editor, the section title says "iBox linked to "Home Template" template".  Could this be causing the issue and if so, how can we fix it?

Hello tforasiepi

Please first correctly clear the cache of your WP Super Cache plugin. Then totally disable the plugin and remove it from your site if your site is still under construction and you intend to make any changes to your site. You only really need to use this plugin once your site is fully formed and live with no more immediate changes to be made

Then Once you have completely removed all traces of your caching plugin from your site - please disable all your other plugins to see if this fixes your issue, If so, you can then reactivate them one by one to see which plugin was causing the issue.

The last time this plugin was updated was in December 2013 prior to the release of DMS2 and has not been proven to work with DMS2,

The information suggesting that the section is linked to the home age template is simple showing you that you have created a template and added the section to the template and that the section is now linked to that template. Any changes made to that section that is linked to theat template will affect the same section on any other page that used the Home template.

Also, i tried to access your site by clicking the link but the page didn't load and resulted in a timeout.

If you would like the 'circle' around the images to be square you can do this with the standard i-boxes by changing the border radius from 500px to 1px on all sides. Just add the custom code to your Custom CSS area.

I don;t think there is need for the Better i-boxes plugin in DMS2 as the iboxes to much more now than they did in DMS1 which is what this product was aimed at.

Thanks Martin,

We used your suggestion  Making the boarder 1px for a square box.  We will check out the iboxes in DMS2 as well.

    • IssueM plugin
      By JudithKlinger+
IssueM is a magazine plugin. It uses 'articles' instead of posts.
I'm in the process of converting posts to articles.
In Edit Article mode, if you click on "View Article" it's perfect. No problems.
If you click Preview, it's trying to pull the post where it was copied from. If I delete the post, I get a Page Not Found error.
Preview is trying to pull a Post instead of an Article.
Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but thought you show know.
    • WPML plugin
      By Jackey+
      @Andrew @Simon
After some extensive web building with WPML I experienced that I needed to do numerous workarounds to prevent my page data to get lost, and really could not dot the i's. I would therefore like to request PageLines to build a WPML plugin for PL5 that will enable all text fields in the PL5 editor to be handled with the string translator in WPML.
I think that would give PL5 an edge on the international playing field.
    • DMS 2 Won't save Custom CSS
      By flourishdesignstudio+
My DMS 2 site will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?
    • CSS Hero question
      By janpeeters+
      Hi all,
I was totally excited to find out about 'CSS Hero' ( I read about it in the compatible plugins section of the PL5 docs ( For me it's a great way to more easily customize my sites because I'm not a CSS pro.
I'm wondering about one thing though… Does anyone know if using this will result in a heavy penalty on page loading speeds? Would love to start using it but only if it doesn't cost too much in terms of speed.
      Thanks, Jan
    • Custom CSS VIA FTP
      By flourishdesignstudio+
Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!
