Display tags on frontpage

Pagelines by default only displays tags on the individual post page. Is there a simple way to have them appear on a full post feed displayed on the frontpage?

Thanks!

Hi,

When you say tags on individual posts, are you referring to the Tags widget ?

I am not talking about the tag cloud widget, but rather the tags that are associated with a post. They only appear on the individual post page in Framework, and I would like to see them on my excerpted frontpage as well.

Thanks.

Try adding the following code to your child themes functions.php file.

function tags_in_excerpt() {
  printf(
          '<div class="p tags">%s&nbsp;</div>',
          get_the_tag_list(
            __( "<span class='note'>Tagged with &rarr;</span> ", 'pagelines' ),
            ' &bull; ',
            ''
          )
        );
}
add_action('pagelines_loop_after_excerpt', 'tags_in_excerpt');

Thank you, I'll give it a try as soon as I setup a child theme.

Great - let us know how you get on and if we can help with this :)

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

      Hi, I found out that if I go to the archive of a tag e.g. http://mysite/?tag=lotd , it doesn't work. It doesn't show the correct posts tagged with lotd, --but it works for categories. It only works when I use WP Content. How do I display this using Postpins?
      And is it possible to create a different archive page for only a particular category?

      I would like to show the category and tag description when I click in a category or in a tag. It would be something like this:

      [attachment=2421:pregunta-categoria-descripcion.png]

      I have read the documentation from wordpress http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/category_description but it seems that platform is a bit different from other themes.
