Drop Down Menu with the Wordpress Custom Menu

Hi I've recently experienced that the drop down menu is not working with the wordpress custom menu. I want to use the custom menu because my site names an menu items are not equal? thanks kirsten

Could be a js conflict, test with FireBug for firefox Did you disable plugins to check for a plugin conflict? How about markup issues? (run w3 validator) if you keep having a problem, please post a live link.
