onlinetracker 2 Report post Posted November 10, 2010 Here is a usability wish for Platform Pro. The "Post Footer Social Links Text" and "Post Footer Sharing Icons" are pretty limited. Would it be possible to do the same thing you do with the Twitter integration, but use Sociable which allows you to selected the icons you want and has the submission script included. It removes the need for you [PageLines] to hard code the submission code, and allows us [Customers] to choose exactly what we want displayed. For instance, Digg may not be the social site you want to attract a userbase from, but Reddit is. Or I want to submit to all of the 99 social bookmarking sites that are listed in Sociable. Disclaimer: This may read like spam, but it isn't.
Andrew 207 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 haha. Yes, well we designed things so you could add custom sections.. We haven't advertised or educated much on this (mostly because of the stampede and support) Anyways, this is easy... we'll get some video tutorials out. Or you could just edit the section itself; or add a shortcode somewhere
Sourena 2 Report post Posted February 3, 2011 How can it be edited? How can I add shortcode there? alefba.usWeb Development & Design for Right-to-Left languages
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 Hi Sourena, I think he's referring to either hooking sociable into that area: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/base-child-theme Or manually editing the code through Appearance > Editor. Thanks, Bryan
