Rev slider and Firefox

Recommended Posts

jagipson

In Firefox Rev Slider is not postioning  right but looks fine in Chrome and Safari. I found out that if I add a blank canvas above Rev Slider the slider is in the right place but theres a gap above it but the gap only appears in Firefox please see the url and image below

I am on DMS 2.0.5 and have no problem. have you tried removing all Custom CSS and deactivate all non Pagelines plugins?

Like the other users who have replied to your topic, I am unable to recreate your issue with the RevSlider in FireFox. This is a screenshot of your site loaded up on my FireFox for Mac.

OK, I can see that issue. However, that isn't related to DMS, it has to be related to either a custom script or plugins you have installed.

Danny Im going to make an exact copy of this site so I can disable all plugins and LESS/CSS and see if the issue is still there (this is a live site I can get the slider where it needs to go by placing a emplty canvas above it and then adding FF only CSS)

Hi jagipson

Yep... I see like you in Firefox (bad)

Please, you can try with

.pl-scroll-translate {
    overflow: inherit;
}

I´m not sure but perhaps resolve the issue

More bad news... I have tried to replicate this but cant

What did you mean by adding an empty canvas and FF only CSS? If you know what FF needs exclusively, then use variables (you will need to activate 'Enable CSS Classes' in wp admin > Pagelines Pro)

If I place an Emply Canvas Section above the Rev Slider it will be in the correct place but a little low only in FF so I can move it up with the following and it will work ok  but why I am trying to show PL that this is a bug

@-moz-document url-prefix() {
  #revsliderukanmnu {
     position: relative;
    top: -26px;
  }
}

Just testing this out a bit more..

jagipson - Could you take all your Custom CSS and paste into the Pastebin functionality on the forum and provide the link please?

Pastebin for the forum is here http://forum.pagelines.com/pst/

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
      I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
      On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
      Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
      My theme is up to date

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
      Thanks in advance for the help!

      Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
      All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
