Migrating from DMS 1 to DMS 2

Hello:

If there is already a forum topic on this, please direct me.  I did not find it when I searched.

I am migrating a site from DMS version 1.1.8  to DMS 2.

I deactivated all of my plugins

This is the error message I get when I try to upload the zip folder for DMS 2.

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/34/9061334/html/cancun/wp-content/themes/dms/

Theme install failed.

One thought I had is to FTP into my host server and delete the dms folder under themes for this site.

What do you suggest?

Usually with WordPress you can toggle between themes (especially if there are no customizations), but I think there is confusion about the dms somehow.

Thank you,

Debbie

Thanks for letting us know :)

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Hi,

i have the same problem but cannot access documentation because it says i don't have "the permission". Why? I have an active DMS Business Upgrade from Pro Plus account.

I believe i should access that documentation.

Thx
