custom class

I have used a textbox section to add copyright info in footer.

1. How can I use php function date('Y'); to show copyright year?

2. I have added Custom Styling Classes as copyright but it does not show any effect, is this right way to add custom classes?

How do I download the nextbox plugin? Its asking to upgrade membership. How much is cost for this plugin only?

I have added copyright class in the same way as in example but the class does not appear.

Nextbox is only available as part of the Club packages. If you're not a Club member or don't wish to upgrade I would suggest looking at a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-php/ to be able to insert php in a page.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

I can manage with hardcoding the copyright year, but my copyright class does not seem effecting. I have followed the process of adding custom classes.

How I have implemented the copyright class, please check here: http://snag.gy/edgEI.jpg

The Source code of footer, please check here. http://snag.gy/N0ME5.jpg

The Styling classes field adds the class(es) you add to the sections element see the screenshot, I have highlighted your class - https://cloudup.com/cKzMhNPX7tw

So if you want to use that class, you will want to remove it from the Style Classes field and use it like this instead.

<p class="copyright">© Copyright 2014 Socrato. All Rights Reserved.</p>
