hi.

this used to work but since the latest wordpress update, suddenly the post pins are not putting the gutters between themselves anymore and they start laying on each other. I use postpins on several sites and its happening across the board.

what can we do to fix this?

HI John

This is an issue that has been reported on the forum and logged as a bug since the release of Wordpress 3.9

Please see this post http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/34575-postpins-issue-with-wordpress-39/?hl=postpins

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

that bit of code worked on a couple sites but I have another site where it jacked up the formatting pretty good.

what are some other work arounds? I saw the other thread somebody didn't want their width smaller really and there was something else that could be done.

Which code changed the layout so dramatically?

the following code seems to have desireable effect without affecting the site too much,

.postpin-wrap {
  width:206px;
}

      I recently installed PostPins and it was working great until I accidentally deleted the section. When I added the section back onto the page (without changing a thing), the posts were separated by a significant gap. I tried removing my custom CSS, reinstalling the plugin, deactivating other plugins, refreshing the cache -- but nothing seems to work. Unfortunately, I was also unable to revert to the published site (although I had not published the the new layout).
      The section is currently working on the published site (insatiablecuriosities.com). The mis-stacked section is shown in the attached image.

      When PostPins is active on a page, I get PHP warnings:
      Notice: Undefined property: PostPins::$icon in /www/wp-content/plugins/postpins/postpins.php on line 318 Notice: register_metatab is deprecated since version 1.2 of PageLines DMS! Use section_opts() instead. in /www/wp-content/themes/dms/dms/includes/deprecated.php on line 280
      It looks like PostPins is still using section_optionator() and should be using section_opts()

      Use shortcodes to customize the meta information for these pins.
      But I ma not able to set it by right way
      for example if I want to chande meta to show tags what is the right syntax?
      [the_tags] doesnt work
