Changing the colour of 2 of my menu items

Recommended Posts

jane

Hi,

I'd like to change the colour of 2 of my menu items (the language selectors).

I went into Firebug and found what I think are their IDs so that I could write some css, this is what I came up with:

#menu-item-107-en {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}

#menu-item-107-fr {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}

I added it to my custom css area but nothing changed. Any idea what I should do?

Thank you

Hi jane

I´m not sure, but you can give a chance to..

.lang-item.lang-item-7.lang-item-fr.menu-item.menu-item-type-custom.menu-item-object-custom.menu-item-107-fr {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}

You almost had it right. However, those are classes and not IDs so your code should look like this:

.menu-item-107-en {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}
.menu-item-107-fr {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}

If that doesn't work, you will need to prefix with it with a PageLines override class like so.

#site .menu-item-107-en {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}
#site .menu-item-107-fr {color:#fff; font-weight:bold;}
