Remove grey border from QuickSlider

Recommended Posts

davestolte

I'd like to remove the grey border from the QuickSlider here: http://www.artstablesm.com

In the QuickSlider Standard Options, I've tried:

.uveed9 {padding: 0px; border: 0px;}

and

.fslider {padding: 0px;}

...and in Custom CSS, I've tried:

.fslider {padding: 0px;}

Hi davestolte

Please, you can try with

.fslider {
    background: none !important;
    box-shadow: none;
    border-radius: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
}

Life is too short to remove USB safely ...

Tried that (and .uveed9 { etc.) - no luck. Tried it in the Local area and site wide Custom CSS.

I am presuming that .fslider is your cusrom CSS rule that you have created in </> Custom in DMS live editor or in WP admin > Pagelines > DMS Fallbacks > Custom LESS?

If so, you reference it in the Standard Options > Custom Styling Classes with out the full stop as: fslider

Alternatively, add this code to you </> Custom  or DMS Fallbacks:

#quickslideruveed9 {

  padding: 0px;

}

and that should work

You m,ust have Custom CSS that is adding the padding, border etc as quickslider doesnt appear to come with that added as standard?

Chrome Developer tools - please use them. If you are not sure how, then it is easy to learn

Be inventive in your keyword search of the forum ie Navi > Navbar > menu > tabs > font > color. Your answer lies there somewhere!

Thanks - still not working. See attached. Also, I didn't add any custom CSS to add the grey border, so if it's not the default style, I'm not sure where it's coming from!

2.0.4? No idea why I mine is different. No idea where that custom class .fslider is coming from. No idea why the changes to the custom CSS arent taking effect.

Tried?

.fslider {

  padding: 0px !important;

The CSS in your image regarding the Widget isn't valid, please either correct it or remove it completely, leaving the code for the slider only.

Thanks for letting us know :)

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
      I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
      On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
      Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
      My theme is up to date

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
      Thanks in advance for the help!

      Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
      All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
