nav search wont go away

the nav search box will not go away, even though i've removed it in the pagelines setup. How do i remove it? thx ... see http://SnazzyProductions.com search in nav bar at right

You can use this CSS rule

.navbar .searchform {  display: none;}

 

Please, you first verify in

Pagelines > Site Option > Header and Footer > Hide search field

does not work (it did only the first time i turned it off then on again)

i dont want to mess with CSS because pagelines and/or wordpress upgrades will get messed up, right?

Please, you can take a look in

Pagelines > Site Option > NavBar

 

Are you using a cache plugin? , refresh this after save option.

The likely reason as to why the search field is not removing itself when you set the option is because you have a cache plugin active. I highly recommend you disable the cache plugin, if you're still making changes to your site. A cache plugin, is the very last thing you activate, due to the issue you're encountering.

 

So once your site has been finalised, then enable the cache plugin again.
