How can I make a front page view with 2 colums showing category postloop (Photo on top of text) as in the enclosed example from www.curvesahead.dk.

I like to show it along side a sidebar as in the contentarea of a page.

Enable legacy mode, select Posts Layout Mode > Magazine Layout Mode - plus set 'Number of Full Width Posts? (Mag. Mode)' to 0

Chrome Developer tools - please use them. If you are not sure how, then it is easy to learn

Be inventive in your keyword search of the forum ie Navi > Navbar > menu > tabs > font > color. Your answer lies there somewhere!

Hi Carsten,

In order to achieve the layout you desire, you will want to do the following:

1. Use the Wordpress Static Front page in Wordpress Admin Dashboard > Settings > Reading

2. Use a plugin such as Special Recent Posts or MiniLoops. Then use the plugins shortcode inside the PageLines Grid.
