DMS v1.2 vs v2

Recommended Posts

Before you guys announced about DMS v2, the upcoming version was 1.2! But 1.2 never got the light of sun! Rather v2 is introduced with different price plan, with pulling it from GitHub!

Now I want to say what's the difference between these two versions?!

Hi rijans

You can see the DMS 2 in action in this

http://themes.pagelines.com/dms/

and you take a look this useful post from James Giroux

http://pagelinescommunity.com/pagelines-dms-2/

You see this Danny´s reply about GitHub

Me too! This because they converted 1.2 into 2 ...(I guess)...and made it pro!

guessing would be accurate.

DMS v2 is no longer open source and not the version 1.1.x was.

Any updates to the 1.1.x branch would still be numbered as 1.x

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.
