How to create a divider between posts with DMS?

Recommended Posts

insatiableiam

I am looking to separate my posts with a some kind of divider but not sure how to achieve this with DMS, I can think of manually adding an image to the end of each post, but I was wondering if there's an easier route with just adding a css border to divide each one or even use css to add an image to it.

Thanks

Hi insatiableiam

You can try to add in

Custom > Custom CSS/LESS

or in

Child theme

.multi-post .hentry {
    margin: 0px 0px 21.7px;
    border-bottom: 1px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);}

My exemplary code is not necessarily applicable as written, to your site, so please adjust accordingly.

It is advisable to learn how to do this on your own too.

That did the trick, just wasn't sure if it's the same method, now if I had other post content, all I would have to do is write a different class name and override with #page right?

Hi there, that's correct. If you set a custom class within the styling field of a section you can then use that class to control the custom css.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
