I recently built a website for a customer and then migrated the wordpress to his new domain to go live. I had section caching turned on. before migration.

www.myapluspest.com

I have migrated wordpress sites before without any problem by updating any references in the database with the new url. However now when I go to the website and do a no cache refresh(Ctrl F5) on any page it returns the page and has the text even (you can look at source and see the content) but you can't see it. Please see screenshot.

This problem is related to http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/33095-text-dissapears-turns-transparent/

Debugging is turned on please assist!

Hi there, I can see all your text in firefox from loading the page, in chrome it needed a refresh before it showed. http://screencast.com/t/BMVHxuVk

If you go to the DMS control panel > settings > advanced > resets > flush LESS then clear the cache in the browser and refresh, does the text loads straight off?

Are you able to see the text in other browsers just not chrome. Just need to double check as this could be a chrome issue only.

It is only in chrome and it only happens when you first visit the page or if you do a hard/no cache refresh (Ctrl + F5) instead of a soft refresh (in browser).

I tried the suggestion of flushing the LESS and clearing my browser cache but it still has same result. Also if  you hover over some links (like footer menu), they begin to show...

I have never seen anything like this before.

I've had a scout about online and it seems like this is a problem which is happening on chrome outside of DMS as well, happening on other Wp sites within the last week. From what I've read it seems to be related to fitvids, I'll report it to the Dev team this evening.

Update: have logged on the bug tracker - https://github.com/pagelines/DMS/issues/675

      Hi

I'm using Pagelines for the first time and have encountered problems transferring the site from the test domain to the live domain.

eg. I'm moving the site from test.mydomain.com to livewebsite.com [Not the real domain]

After transferring the WP files and database as usual there appears to be content missing. It looks like the Pagelines theme is not finding superfish css or .js so we are not seeing assets like the header, background image, quickslider images etc.

Can you offer an advice on this? The site needs to launch on Tuesday so would be great to hear from someone as soon as possible.

Happy to PM links to the sites.

      Thanks,
      Kristen
