I have installed the free DMS version.

My WP  is in Dutch (NL)  ,  the nl.mo and nl.po  files are in the language directory by default, so why is DMS in English?

Hi,

Can you tell me how you configured your Wordpress to the dutch language and also upload your nl.po, nl.mo files so I can check this myself please. Also where did you upload your language files?

You can upload the files to here and share me the URL - http://ge.tt/

Hi Danny,

I've put this in wp-config.php:  define('WPLANG', 'nl_NL');

My wordpress admin is in Dutch so this seems to work.

I didn't upload nl.po and nl.mo,  they were there already after I installed DMS. They are part of the default installation I guess.

OK, the issue is the name of the language files, I have reported this as a bug.

In the meantime, what you can do is this:

Using your FTP client, go to wp-content/themes/dms/language/

Then rename the following files from:

nl.mo

nl.po

to:

nl_NL.mo

nl_NL.po

This should resolve your issue.

Awesome, I don't have any experience with translations to be honest, so it took me a while to figure out the problem, so I apologise for the long response time.
