How to add short codes to dms

Hi I need to add a simple optin form on the landing page on the right of the slider. I want to have a background graphic. I was able to add the image background to the column, but adding the short code in the text box nested in the column did not work for Firefox, but seems to work in Chrome http://buff.ly/1ktuPpP

How would I add a small opt in form to the right of my slider. I do have Gravity forms but wondering how to add the short code to the landing page of DMS. thanks

try the shortcode in the title of the textbox rather than in the html field.

Most shortcodes should work, as both the TextBox and MediaBox sections use the do_shortcode() function. However, if your shortcode isn't working, its likely caused by the shortcodes code itself. What shortcode are you trying to implement or plugin?

But I have the gravity short form on this page [gravityform id="3" name="Landing Page Opt In" title="false" description="false"]

This is the page I will put it on (right of sider)

I would say if you've having issues with the textbox use the widgetizer section with a text widget inside it, paste your shortcode into the blank text widget. I've used contact form 7 in the past for my forms using this method.

Thank you, but I have to position it beside the slider. Can I do that. I tried to used the widgets and they always want to be on a side bar right?

The widgetizer is a section, so you can place that in the drag and drop wherever you want. This allows you to call widgets/sidebars into that area without it affecting the primary sidebar http://screencast.com/t/XfhGrMOn So in your case, you'd make a custom sidebar with one text widget in, call it myform or similar. Then select that in the widgetizer option so it displays one textbox in that area.

I think what happened last time is when I config the wigetizer it asked me what side bar I wanted to use. But I did not want to use the primary sidebar, which was the only drop down.

Yeah that will be there by default, you have to create extra sidebars via a plugin. See http://docs.pagelines.com/advanced/custom-sidebars

In your example can you tell me which top menu you used. I like what you did with the menu and background

In James image, that is the NavBar section using custom CSS to add a gradient to it.

      Hi guys,
What is the level of compatibility and integration of PageLines DMS 2 with the Gravity Forms WordPress plugin? Also any hints on styling would be greatly welcomed.

*I've tried it on my demo site and it didn't look great

Hello, I'm reporting a bug for Danny"] or @[member="martin to check and submit to github.

Placing the shortcode  for a button group into a DMS TextBox section does not work properly.

The shortcode itself displays as text either side of the buttons, and the buttons stack ontop of each other instead of side by side.

The shortcode works in the ContentLoop section which is how I've gotten around this problem. However there is one page where I need multiple rows of button groups so I'm not sure how to do this yet.

The short code also works correctly in the Hero section, and PopThumbs section. I have not tried it anywhere else.

I checked in the PL300 and Gavin Aldrich confirmed this bug and advise me to post this thread,

      Thank you.

Hey guys, I've got this one page where I've placed a simple Gravity form — and the footer has this strange gap that doesn't show on the page.

It's an iframe. With no content. Which I have no clue how it got there.

HOWEVER... when I removed the form from the page, the gap (and the iframe) disappeared.

Is there anything in DMS that would cause this? I'll check with the folks at GravityForms to see if they have any clue.

Note that the rest of the pages are fine.

I have several Gravity Forms forms on our site.  The ones that use conditional logic do not appear in Chrome if I am logged in as the admin.  They do appear in Firefox when logged in and when not logged.  This makes me wonder if there is something in the Chrome-based DMS editor that is causing the problem.  Has anyone else experienced this?

      Hi guys

I recently purchased the GravityForms plugin and the advanced Signature add-on. Bought it exclusively because a client needs signatures on a form.

Well I have a form on a test page in a simple TextBox in the template section. The form displays and works BUT NOT the Signature field!  Am communicating w/their support and they see errors on the page:
There is a JavaScript error: Uncaught ReferenceError: SuperSignature is not defined For some reason the script is in the footer when it should be up in the header, the stylesheets are also down in the footer and they should also be in the header. Does your theme's header.php file have <?php wp_head(); ?> also how are you including the form on that page, are you using the shortcode or the function call. If you are using the function call then you also need to use the gravity_form_enqueue_scripts function to correctly include the stylesheets and scripts: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gravity_form_enqueue_scripts Here's a simplified test page:
      http://westcoastfacemasks.com/BLOG/gravity-form-test-wsignature-field/

It has this in the Pagelines Textbox section and nothing else:

      [gravityform id=2 title=false description=false ajax=true] Thanks for taking a look
