Woocommerce product page too big & Sidebars not working

Recommended Posts

Esma

Hi, I am trying to switch my shopping cart to Woocommerce, but the product page is showing up huge. I would like to either resize it or add a sidebar. I tried adding Woosidebar, but no sidebars are showing up on the product pages. Here is a screenshot of what the page looks like - the words and the photos go all the way to the ends of the page, so I would like it to fit more in the middle, or at least have the sidebar to help shrink it down a bit. Any help is appreciated!

Hi there, the product page information is pulled in via the postloop section.

So to create a sidebar layout, you'll need to use the two column section, place the postloop in the left column and then in the right column place the primary sidebar section. http://screencast.com/t/vBhSv11Hszx

Then you can add your widgets into the sidebar via appearance > widgets.

You can use the column editing options at the top of each column to adjust the width of each column to suit.

I am setting up a Woocommerce site using PL Framework and Platform 5. I added a hook so the category description appears under the category page titles (on archive pages). However, it also appears under the title on the main "shop" page (which I have renamed "Catelog" page). There is a default description here and I can't figure out for the life of me where it is being generated from so I can change it. Any ideas how to change it or delete it on the main shop page ONLY? The staging site is here - http://16e.117.myftpupload.com/ and the page in question is http://16e.117.myftpupload.com/catalog/
I have hit up Woocommerce support and they weren't familiar with Platform 5 and recommended I contact you.
Your help would be appreciated, thanks!

      Hi
First of all, sorry for my bad english.
I have a shop with Woocommerce, platform-5 and PL Quicshop, and it´s all OK, but there is a prloblem: in the category page product I don´t get dosplay the bubble "price" when the product is in sale.
      Example:
This is my product category page, without the bubble: https://globosdemar.com/categoria-producto/collares/
And this is othrer shop with the bubble: https://www.usaprocom.com/product-category/fireplace-systems/
      Somebody knows how solve this?
      Thanks

      Hi,
I am trying to remove the sidebar areas from my child theme (pagelines.com) from the post pages on a site:
      https://staging4.talltreemusicfestival.com/2017/grand-analog/
The content is all the way to the left and very small, and the two sidebar areas are taking up a lot of space.
What I'm after is content to the left, taking up most of the space, and then a small sidebar width on the right for widgets.
I've tried selecting 'read width content' and 'full width content' in the edit screen for the WP content section, but it doesn't change.  If I try to move the sidebars (1 or 2) to the left, it doesn't change.
If I select the pagelines framework theme (not child), the two sidebars go away when not selecting them in the edit screen..
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
      Thanks in advance.
      -Matt
