How to change vertical align for tables

Recommended Posts

zeven

Hi!

First of all - thank you for a wonderful product! I really love pagelines for my websites because of the simplicity.

I am trying to change the settings in css for my website http://xn--bstasparkontot-5hb.se/ since the tables are getting missplaced in firefox. The code I want to change is:

trthtd {
vertical-align: baseline;

To:

trthtd {
vertical-align: top;

--

I can read in the style.css that I should not enter it there but use Pagelines own CSS-form. However, I dont seem to understand how it works. How can I implement the above?

Thanks again,

Z

Hi Z

DMS has its own Css/LESS panel for entering custom code to override the default.

Go to the DMS control panel and click on the icon marked as in this screenshot and paste your code into the custom css code and save. http://screencast.com/t/dlkB1L1Zf6Oc

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

I'm not sure I have the same version of Pagelines as referred since it doesnt look like that. I attached a picture of the code i pasted. Is it correct? There's no changes on my website.

Hi there, it looks like you're using the previous PageLines Framework theme, in which case the place where you've positioned the code is correct. The css you've entered is also correct in terms of how it's structured. Once saved, refresh the page to see the changes on the live version of the site, if you have a cache plugin active, clear the cache and deactivate so you can make sure you're seeing the live version and not a previously saved page etc.
