PageLines DMS - Restore PageLines Dashboard

Recommended Posts

I've spent two and a half hours searching the web and the forums for the wp-config.php setting to restore the legacy PageLines dashboard to wp-admin

Could someone enlighten me? Thanks in advance.

HI,

Not exactly sure what you mean, there are no settings in wp-config.php file for PageLines legacy dashboard (not even sure what you mean by legacy Dashboard).

Can you go into greater detail please.

Please search our forums, before posting!

There is a wp-config setting to enable the DMS PageLines control panel in the dashboard similar to the one in PageLines framework. Can't find documentation on it now to save my life but know it exists.

There is no such setting. There IS a page in wp-admin, as a fallback for editing css and js areas.

I know about the the LESS/CSS and JS editing areas. I've seen documentation on this for DMS on here in the past, but cannot locate it. Should I do so, I'll post on this thread.

Hi there, the fallback tab for the css/less and scripts is in the pagelines tab in the wp admin area - http://screencast.com/t/AA3QaCCdqLl

All other editing options for DMS are on the front end of the site using the live editor. So go to view your blog, www.my-site.com etc in chrome and at the bottom of the page you'll see the DMS control panel, all the section options and drag and drop options are inside there in DMS. http://screencast.com/t/AtXIThUj

There was a legacy sections plugin that was previously available, however this stopped working a good few updates back as all V2/Framework code was removed. There is no other code to add the options from the DMS control panel which displays in the front end to an admin panel in the wp admin area like the Framework used to have unfortunately.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

How can I get support on pagelines DMS? The product isn't that old and my skeleton themes aren't working and I can't get support in the same way?

I have a number of legacy websites that are running on the above version of Pagelines DMS, where the template has stopped working. I am using a skeleton theme to all of them. What do I need to do to rectify this.

I am having an issue with DMS editor not loading.  Just keeps spinning and spinning.
Have tried several things - Logged in and out, cleared cache, deactivated all plugins, but the issue persists.
I even had our host restore from a backup a few weeks ago, when I know it WAS working, as I edited a text box on the homepage.  The restore from backup didn't help either.
Also, the front end of the site shows that the site is framed, or boxed now (whatever you call it), instead of full width as it was previously (last week).
Dev console shows that there are php errors in Google maps - file is attached.
Can someone please help?  Not sure what else I can do here...
      Thanks in advance.
