Is/will it possible to set the title for sections for the scrollspy?

Hello

If I understand http://docs.pagelines.com/tutorials/using-scrollspy this correctly, then I'm supposed to implement the scrollspy-navigation section to a page, and then write the page content in the WordPress admin-panel, and to the content of the site create sections for the scroll spy like:

  1. <h4 class="scroll-header" title="Setup"></h4>
  2. <p>Your content here</p>

Or possibly use a text box -section where I can write scrollspy-compatible html myself.

As I can set the css-classes needed for scrollspy to my DMS sections easily, is it possible to also add the title so I could just drag & drop a landing page that scrolls to different sections? so I could use the scrollspy to scroll to i.e. specific section in my page like Column that has content inside it, or scroll to a fullwidth slideshow etc?

Thank you

Hi there, the core scrollspy section is setup to work with sections unfortunately, you could probably work around this in DMS by adding the classes but as you've noticed areas like the header title and the other html that scroll spy picks up isn't added to the navbar.

However, there is a third party section which handles this inside core sections, take a look at - http://www.pagelines.com/shop/sections/scroll-nav-dms/

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

I checked the demos for that plugin and something was way off. Nothing working, and everything looked really bad...

But wouldn't it be really easy to implement this? Just DMS adding the possibility to add Titles for Columns?

I have a problem with the typography settings. I set the H1 class with "font-weight: 300;" (Very thin weight), and "font-size: 50px;" (To have considerable evidence of my problem). Unfortunately, as you can see on the screenshots, those setting don't have any incidence on the site, Infact in the home page editor there is a trial title called "Text test", bold, and 26 px approximatly sized.
Why the typography settings are not transposed on the site? Where I wrong?

      Hi there,

I'm having the following problem: I set up a scroll spy on my homepage, and put several sections throughout the homepage with .scroll-headers (for example: <h4 class="scroll-header" title="Testimonials">Testimonials</h4>). The problem is, the menu highlighting doesn't change as I scroll, only the last menu item remains highlighted. Any idea what's going on? See here:

      Greetings,

Looking to be able to change the font of the Standard Title text in the Header/Highlight section.

      See screen shot

Also, if I leave Highlight Header text and Highlight Subheader text blank, I get default text "Here's to the crazy ones..." appearing so I have to put a single space in the header and subheader text boxes to make that go away.

      Thoughts?

Is there a way to have a second fixed section that isn't a sitewide element? I would like to have the site's section titles like "Portfolio" or "About Us" remain at the top of the page while scrolling. I would need this section to have the capability of changing text depending on the section of the site its on.

I could have sworn I read in the documentation somewhere about creating a scroll-spy link using HTML (something like <a href="somesection" rel="scroll-spy" class="btn">button</a>), but I can't find it where I expected to. Is this possible? Basically, I want to use scroll spy from the main menu, instead of a separate scrollspy section. Possible, or do I need a different plugin?
