Feature Page video

I have 3 questions re: video on the opening feature page... First, I am embedding a swf via Kimili - ` [kml_flashembed publishmethod="static" fversion="8.0.0" movie="http://www.screamingfrog.com/video/job_wp.swf" width="435" height="290" targetclass="flashmovie" play="false" loop="false" wmode="opaque" allowfullscreen="false"]

Get Adobe Flash player

[/kml_flashembed] ` It starts to play automatically even though I have play="false". Is there a better plugin to use? 2) The "ClearOverAll" skin is in the video folder but is not showing up with the video. 3) Is there a way to get the features to stop scrolling if the user presses "play" on the video? Here is my url: http://screamingfrog.com Thank you!

Re the auto play: i'd ask the plugin provider about this...we don't know :) 2. same, 3. Not easily, or at least we don't know of one... the slider uses the Jquery Cycle plugin... and they do have a way to pause the transitions... but not through action on the vid. It is probably possible with some custom Javascript (Jquery)

Hey Andrew I just got Station Pro today and was wondering the same thing about question 3. I'm not opposed to a pause function that could happen "on click" anywhere in a specific frame, or even all frames. Unfortuntately Javascript is not my fort?© but I have to imagine such a call could be made. Looking at the Jquery Cycle documentation here (http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/options.html) it's obvious the features slider can receive a pause command. In fact, Pagelines has a pause button, so the work has already been done. All we need to do is find a way to send that same command from the frame based on an "onclick" state across the frame. Can you give me a hint as to where I can find that code & I'll see what I can do from there. Meanwhile like I said this is my first day fiddling around. Here's what I'm up to so far: http://0320579.netsolhost.com/main/ First post! WOO! :>)

Hey okay I was reading about YouTube Player's API and saw where you can access the player's state. Cross referenced this on Google and came up with what may be a solution ... For YouTube at least: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1527617/how-do-i-attach-a-jquery-event-handler-to-a-youtube-movie/1529065#1529065 Haven't tried it yet... but looks promising.
