Change content background global

Hello,

How do I change the content / post loop background colour, globally?

I created this custom CSS:

.new-black-bg {
    background-color: #000000;
    color: white;
}

Edited Content/Postloop, and set this as the styling class.
But it only applies to the local settings.

How do I change it globally so I don't have to edit every page?

Hi,

You will need to use custom CSS and not custom classes as the PostLoop section on your blog page only supports local settings meaning it will only work on that page.

Ok, thanks.

I can't find the name of the div, are these listed somewhere? - I searched the docs and the forums.

Can't find it with Chrome DevTools either.

Or is there perhaps a plugin that makes it easier to customise colours on a global level?

Try this:

#site .section-postloop {
background-color: #F5DEB3;
padding: 20px;
box-sizing: border-box;
}
