How to Remove Byline in Content/Post loop

Recommended Posts

tobybennett

I am using Wordpress 3.8 and DMS 1.1.4. My site is CrispCulture.com

Please advise how to delete the byline (author,date,category) in the content/post loop section. I only want the title, excerpt, and thumb to show up. Not sure how to use shortcodes for this.

Thanks!

Hi,

.post-meta .metabar em {
display: none;
}

Thanks for your quick reply. Works great, but now (.post-meta .metabar em {display: none;}) appears instead of the byline. Anyway to hide the text, so the shortcode doesn't show up on the live site?

You should have added that to CSS /less section.. Where did you put it?

I put it in the configure full width post metabar. Adding it to CSS/LESS section didn't work.
