DMS Editor does not load CSS

Recommended Posts

Jackey

Have been sussesfully running my new site for 3 days now and all of a sudden when I activate the DMS Editor the CSS does not load.

My site is http:golfbaan-stippelberg.nl

- Without the editor everything is fine.

- No errors, just a few warnings.

- Tried Flush Caches

Disabled all plugins at no avail...

What can be happening here?

Hope not that months of work went down the drain with this... I'm gutted...

HI,

I can't view your site, it just comes up with a Domain registration message ?

Is this the correct URL ?

Can you enable PL debug mode please.

Hi,

The url is http://golfbaan-stippelberg.com/ (sorry forgot the slashes)

Managed to get it "Fixed"... Not really, but I found where the problem lies.

I use the customizer plugin, and what I've done to make the DMS editor working again is:

  • Renamed style.less to style.css
  • Moved all less code to the "</> Custom" section in DMS
  • Left the rest of the CSS in the style.css

It almost seems that there is a limit how much LESS my configuration (ISP) can compile.

Happy to get it back up running again. (fingers crossed)

ISP has nothing to do your site nor is there any reported issue or bug where the Customize plugin can only contain so much LESS CSS. Therefore, it sounds like a server related issue or you have invalid CSS in your LESS CSS which is causing an error. I would check your CSS/LESS for errors.

The same LESS code runs fine from the </> custom section. Will keep you posted of my findings.
