print.css

Recommended Posts

i have created a document called print.css.  and i have put this piece of script in the Custom Scripts Section of the DMS editor.

" <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/css/print.css" media="print"> "

I am just not sure which directory to upload the print.css file.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make boxes or better boxes keep their formatting while being printed?

Hi there

The best way to do this would be to use the base theme and add the print.css in there alongside the style.css. If you just add it inside the core theme it will be overwritten each time you update etc.

Whats happening to the formatting when you print a box?

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
