can't decrease paddings after adding sections

Recommended Posts

antonella

hello,

I've been playing around with the hero unit, callouts, etc and added them to our home page. However, there is too much space between the elements. Via firebug, I believe I've isolated the padding to the content-pad. However, I only want to change the padding on the homepage where I have these features, but on no other pages.

I've tried using #page-id-14, but it doesn't seem to change. I've also tried the overrides in front of #page-id-14 (#page #page-id-14 ... / #site #page-id-14... etc.)

#page-id-14 #content .content-pad {
padding-top: 0;
padding-bottom: 0;
}

The site is here. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Antonella

Hi Antonella

You can try with "classy", it is a free sections form Nick Haskins and this works fine to me

Here is the link

Sorry I don´t see PageLines Framework, this is for DMS

Hi Batman,

Thanks for your comments. I'm not sure it will help in my case as this applies to DMS and I'm still on framework.

It is true that the hidden CSS nesting is really difficult to tease out, even with firebug!

Batman, thanks so much! That did it. I can't believe I didn't try that... since it's an individual page id, thought it had to have the "#" specifier....
