Technical Advice Needed

Hi,

I am having a very challenging time using DMS on one of my client sites and would actually like to speak to a developer off-line to discuss the issue. I suspect that the problem is very basic but wanted to know if anyone is available to speak to me? If it is not basic...I can post in the forums and try to hire someone to fix for me. I am using the latest version of DMS and Woo Commerce so I prefer anyone that has experience using both together to contact me.

The front page at zoziurban.com is not loading on all browsers. I know for sure that it is not loading on IE 8.0 on a PC but it looks fine to me but it is loading very slow.

I have adjusted the PHP settings so I just don't know what the problem is.

What do you mean you adjusted the PHP settings ?

 

Also, can you provide a screenshot of the issue you're seeing please, as I don't have access to IE8.

 

I have viewed your debug info from your site and you have the following problems.

 

PHP Open basedir restriction
Yes!
/nfs:/tmp:/usr/local:/etc/apache2/gs-bin
 
PHP Magic Quotes gpc
Yes! Deprecated as of PHP 5.3 and removed in PHP 5.4
 
I recommend you contact your host and ask them to update your PHP version to 5.4 or greater. Also, you should try disabling all active plugins except for DMS Pro Tools and see if this resolves your issue.

Thank you for reviewing the debug info. James reviewed the site and did not see any problems either. I have reviewed the site and cannot locate the problem that my client is complaining of. Thanks once again! I appreciate it.

NO problem at all - did you try turning off/on their compatibility mode maybe?

I don't have a PC. I meet with them tomorrow but wanted to make sure I've done everything possible to correct the issue beforehand.

OK - i use virtualbox on my mac to test stuff like this out. I have a few installs of various windows - might help you in the future. https://www.virtualbox.org/
